A Summary from the November 2023 Kaitiaki Strategic Hui

How are you engaging with Tae Ora Tinana?

What is the main current focus of the Tae Ora Tinana kaitiaki?

Building our hāpori among our members of kaimahi Māori and tauira Māori across the motu is the priority for Tae Ora Tinana going into 2024.

While in Kirikiriroa for this strategic hui, kaitiaki met with local tauira and kaimahi for whakawhanaungatanga. Hui like these, with kōrero and kai, will be rolling out in regions across the motu, including an upcoming hui whakawhanaungatanga in Pōneke on Monday 4th December.

Tae Ora Tinana encourages kaimahi Māori and tauira Māori to come along, even if it is your first time engaging with Tae Ora Tinana! There will be kōrero and kai, and an amazing opportunity to build your network as a Māori physiotherapist

What are some of the benefits of becoming a Tae Ora Tinana member?

As we connect with and build our membership in 2024, we will be working towards hosting a noho marae for our members. In order to do this we want to build strong relationships with our members across the motu. If you have any questions for the kaitiaki, or requests for hui in your rohe, please email through to taeoratinana@pnz.org.nz

Are you a Māori physiotherapist or student looking to meet others?? Nau mai, haere mai e hoa!

In conclusion, this strategic hui was an awesome time to come together kanohi ki te kanohi with all of the kaitiaki, as well as reconnect with our tauira and kaimahi who we strive to represent!
