Have you been wondering what Tae Ora Tinana are up to? You are in the right place!

We have been focussing on building stakeholder relationships

Wins over the past six months

During the June 2023 kaitiaki strategic wānanga we reflected on the past 6 months and the  wins achieved by Tae Ora Tinana. This article, we reflect on key areas of mahi that link to three of our values.

Firstly, oranga, building thriving and sustainable systems and outcomes. In February we rolled out our communications plan, initially by creating this website. We have been busy populating it with new webpages, such as the FAQ page, and will continue to add bits and pieces we hope you will find value in. We have also begun reviving our instagram and facebook accounts. We are starting to schedule regular social media posts this month so show your support by liking our pages. Don’t be scared to engage with us via our socials and let us know what you want to hear or see! We are here to tautoko you wonderful physios!

Secondly, Manaakitanga, support and care for all. As a roopu, we identified our own time capacity for Tae Tinana mahi and needed to ensure we are valuing our time by playing to each of  our strengths. This has looked like us delegating specific kaitiaki to event management, marketing, and finance. Manaakitanga has also been key in communications with our kaumatua, honouring his contributions to kaupapa in the physiotherapy profession.

Thirdly, whanaungatanga, holding on to one another and our relationships. This year we have continued to build a relationship with PNZ, primarily through monthly hui between our tumuaki, Witana, and PNZ executive. Alongside these hui we have had regular hui regarding admin, managing and marketing as required. Alongside PNZ, we have been building relationships with key stakeholders such as ACC. A key area of whanaungatanga has been with our Tauira, and being able to celebrate tauira at graduation ceremonies has been key to this. We are so proud to see our amazing tauira entering our workforce and excited to see the positive impacts they will have on our communities.
